Glad to see others enjoy regularly checking in on the CAISO real-time charts. It’s enlightening to watch supply sources and demand interplay and how these evolve over the day, months, years...

Anyone else seen what is going on with CA State AB1139?

Apparently the state legislature has this bill, sponsored by the big 3 CA utilities, that wants to not just drastically increase the interconnect fees for new residential solar installations (up to $86 per month), but it was recently amended (by the "lightbulb" from San Diego - Lorena Gonzalez) so that if passed it will do away with the grandfathering clauses for those on NEM 1.0 and 2.0, forcing them into the new interconnect charges as well.

All in the name, and I quote, "equity".

I wrote my legislatures, in opposition to this bill, in case anyone else wants to do the same:

Much appreciated. Apparently, even after the forum upgrade, the search functionality leaves a LOT to be desired.
