Man, I'm stoked for more people to buy Tesla's, but seriously people getting delivery texts for orders they placed YESTERDAY before the rest of us who have been waiting 1-2+ MONTHS is some baby back bullsh*t

I still have my order from 10/31.

I placed another order with a pre-production car this past Thursday just to make sure.

I delayed my vacation last week. Today I just completely cancelled my plans.

I got the delivery text this morning at 0824. It says my car is being born and will leave the factory 12/27.

The only day available for pickup was one of the dates I marked unavailable. It’s hard for me to change my work schedule so hopefully someone working New Year’s Eve will trade (Labor and delivery RN). Otherwise i picked the earliest available and hope there’s no weather delays going home!

Ordered: 11/25
SR+ MSM, black interior, no FSD
VIN: null

Scheduled Delivery: 12/27 AM at Santa Barbara

I live close to the Fremont DC - so the process for us might be different (they might be doing home deliveries for people close to the DC to get through the backlog).

I got my delivery date today but still no VIN on order page or in source code. I am relieved, but with an Oct 5th order date i have done alot of swearing the past few weeks as i watched person after person get VINs and in some cases delivery.

Hmm no, that was just the default option they texted me the link for delivery.
