Just got VIN and MVPA this afternoon. Made final payment online. Collecting car on Sunday.

Called and cancelled my trade in because Carvana offered $4,000 more. Enough for paint correction, PPF and ceramic coating!

Has anyone received the 'Follow up contact 24-48 hours before your delivery date"?

I theoretically am getting my car tomorrow at Noon, but have not heard any updated.

Emailed my SA on Tues(12/24) telling him that while my Thurs appointment is fine, I was also home and available Xmas eve. He said my car was being built..and that it should make it in time for the delivery.... Here is to hoping.

I was on a road trip to SanFran today counted 27 car carriers on 5 south all stacked with M3. Every time one passed by I wondered if mine was on it...crazy I couldn’t help thinking about it

Ordered mine on 11/17, no update yet.

Nice to hear everyone getting their delivery confirmations. I predict that every Model 3 buyer who placed their order prior to December 8th will get a confirmation for a December delivery. The same thing happened last year with all of this last minute drama but everyone got their cars and there were still plenty left in inventory to buy. I was negotiating to buy an inventory car on New Year’s Eve at 8pm and they were willing to do the deal, although I ultimately ended up passing and waiting until March to buy one.

Got my confirmation text saying that I would get it delivered on the 30th. So guess they were delivering from far towards close. We are so close to the factory they left ours to almost the last day.

Yes they called me yesterday for a 12/26 delivery - she just asked about my final payment, let me know the person who will be delivering my car will call me before they depart to my house.

Though this is Tesla we are talking about - so I wouldn't draw any conclusions from that - consistency in customer service doesn't seem to be one of their stengths.

There’s something ..... refreshing about seeing a 12/19 order get alllll their information so quickly. Especially when there are still oct/nov orders who haven’t even received a vin in source. Awesome job.

My delivery center called me on Tuesday just to confirm all my information was correct for my Thursday delivery. They also pinged my car and said it was on a truck south of San Francisco. I’m super excited for tomorrow, we will see how much sleep I get tonight.

anyone else noticed on the leasing documents that they are charging sales tax on the acquisition fee? I didn't think that was allowable? I have delivery set up for the 31st and even the person I spoke with couldn't explain why they would do that.

Jesus Christ why can't they at least put covers on our cars to protect it from damage?

Tesla already knows how shitty their paint quality is, considering the premium price we're paying for our cars, they could at least keep it safe

Hmmmm sometime after I "finalized my lease agreement" last night, 12/25, my account went from showing a: 12/26 12pm delivery date.
to
Estimated 4-6 weeks from order placed

same here. If I don’t get one soon I won’t be able to get the bank check in time

I am going to guess a lot of deliveries got delayed because of the winter storm. Closures on the grapevine down the 5 freeway even right now.

With that said.. still no VIN/appointment/contact from Tesla for me.

Curious to know if the heavy snow and rain will have any impact on the new paint on the Tesla especially if the trucks are just stranded
