Ordered Model Y on 7/18 to replace my Model 3 that was totaled in an accident. Received the pickup appointment text on Wednesday 9/23 and scheduled for Saturday, 9/26 in Dublin.
MVPA came in on 9/24.
Tony, Dimitri, Greg and Cameron at Tesla Santa Barbara are real pros. Kudos to them for making both my 3 and Y purchase experiences good ones.

Just wondering how you confirmed it was a factory pickup as opposed to the rumored home delivery?

Confirmed factory pick up via tesla chat and TA.
Tesla is 100% not driving my car down to Big Sur. I literally live in the middle of the woods.
I ordered the same car + FSD but still NO VIN yet, I live in the Silicon valley
About time we start seeing some bay area delivery notifications for Factory pickup!

Delivery went well only 2 things I saw, some scratches to the back bottom panel around the toe hitch and a little pit of the liner corner was coming up in the passenger roof but nothing crazy. Panel gaps good didnt see anything from all the vides I saw

Good to hear it went well! I was trying to zoom in on your pictures to see how the white ones looked. One of those is just sitting there waiting for me!

9/24 Text to Schedule Delivery (still no MVPA)
9/25 Text for early Delivery (today) but couldn't make it
9/26 3PM Delivery - The agreement showed up to sign but the amount due is $100 too much because it didn't account for the $100 build deposit. What's insane is the estimations, as well as the summary, reflect the correct amount just not the official document. All these whizbang engineers can't even do simple math. I sent an email to the scheduling TA and my original TA who will hopefully correct it.

Rejected my White/Black Performance in Buena Park today. . Window trim above the C pillar had a gap. Front passenger door wasn’t flush by a bit. Passenger headlight isn’t set right so there was a big gap on the fender side. Hood was misaligned. Rear driver door is misaligned. Rear bumper felt loose. Oh and the spoiler was coming off.

Ordered 8/8 and picked up today in Fremont. White on white AWD, minor scratches but altogether very happy with the build quality and the car!
