Hi, i have been working on a camper app for the past week.
What is your opinion on this?

The app (via a server) will check every 2 mins the climate, if it is off it will turn it back on up to the defined time.

Sounds WAY too often. Once it's on, it's on for 30 minutes. Why burn my phone's data and battery when 20 minutes would be just as effective?

My server check the status of the car. Not the app. The app just requests to camp, so no battery issues or even data :)

I agree it is too often. The ideal case is to check after 30mins and 1 second. But that is hard to predict. Imagine your heater was on before.
So to be on the safe side the server checks your car every 2 mins.

Perhaps the frequency of the check could be user adjustable. If ever 20 minutes is working, leave it there. If the car gets too cold or too warm over 20 minutes, the user could set it to every 10 minutes or every 5. Or every 2 if that's what it takes.

Remote S has Camper Mode,  Watch support and more and a one time fee and continuous improvements.

Since this is for Tesla vehicles, shouldn't this be called a "glamping" app instead? :p

So because one guy made an app, nobody else can? or what is the point of your comment?

I can call this app "Bjorn" :D as he was the one coming up with this :)

There are other reasons to use an app like this. In days when freezing rain is expected it would be nice to keep the climate system going for hours or all day to reduce the build up of ice on your car, especially the windows.

I tried to sell apps, ppl complain about the price. I made them for free, it just takes time but i feel good about it.
I tried in-app purchases, i get 1 purchase every month at max.
Now i feel like trying again ads like this is 2012 again :)

Updating to 10.3.1 first and then your app.
If only I was as excited about updating my phone, as I am my car. ;)

Doesn’t RemoteS require the app be running, the phone not go to sleep, and no other app be in the foreground at the 30 minute mark? Works if you have a spare phone.

    Thanks for the feedback :)
I will be updating the app soon, it will also lock the doors when you press the camp button in case you forgot it.

Nice...... I do forget. Any chance the Pano could be queued to close to a pre set position at a certain hour? I'd like to have access to the UHFS too.

Im trying to keep this app dead simple. Just 1 button :)
That feature fits better in a schedules app.

The only reason why this is a problem for me is that we leave 2 dogs in the car! I hate constantly checking but sorry, I won't trust the life of my 2 dogs on a Third party app, be it great or not! Good luck and keep up the good work!
