Wanted to share some photos of the camping trip my wife & I did this weekend in our 3 - we packed it to the gills, it handled like a champ & charging worked out great (have a TT-30 adapter).

All in packed:
  • 6-person tent (do they really hold that many people, though?)
  • 10x10 pop-up awning
  • Queen-sized air mattress & cot
  • Necessary bedding for said mattress
  • Food cooler (enough for two meals a day for four people)
  • Five gallon water cooler
  • 2x 2.5 gallon jugs/water
  • Clothing duffle
  • Non-cooled food
  • Two folding camp chairs
  • Two humans

What are you using to charge in that picture (in other words, what was the power situation in that spot?)? Curious to see how common NEMA 14-50 plugs are becoming in camping sites around the country....

That site had NEMA 5-20, 14-50, and TT-30 plugs, so I was using the 14-50, but I did test my TT-30 adapter as well. My parents were staying a few sites down, and that site was lacking the 14-50. This was at Bear Head Lake SP in northern Minnesota.

When we upgrade my wife's car to some sort of EV, we plan on making a little tear-drop trailer a part of that. That's a few years off, though.

Also, it's kinda hard to park a trailer in an apartment complex, considering we have two cars, but only one garage already...
I hear ya. I actually enjoyed car/tent camping. And then kids came along :). Started with a 18’ single axle and has since evolved into a 39’ apartment
