Can’t PPF the whole car, what is the bare minimum to get done?

Okay so I decided I will get a PPF shop to do full frontal, and then do the rear door quarter panel myself. Does that sound like it should cover most?

And by rear door quarter I mean what’s in the photo I posted

I asked them the quote for full front and that and it would be over what I wanted to pay. Is full front still sufficient? I can also add mudddlaps

Yep, full front and mudflaps should be enough.

Full frontal + rockers. Ran me $1800 in socal. Already put to use and saved paint on bumper from unavoidable hit of plastic water jug bouncing on highway

Probably too late for the OP to consider, but we did the mirrors. Glad we did. They seem to get a fair amount of dings for some reason whereas the front of the car shows nothing after 5 years.

I would not do a bra or half hood wrap due to UV paint fade.
I regret not PPFing my hood a lot sooner. I now have a ton of chips that could have been avoided. I also did the headlights and front bumper, which I do recommend.

Definitely get mud flaps - check my YouTube channel for a different video on that.

Not too late since full front included the mirrors and I got that done a month ago! Didn’t do rockers tho

Has anyone here actually done a whole car as a DIY?

This ( for me) is something I will leave to the pros. I once tried to do a smoked headlight look with some film and it was difficult. That’s me tho.
