Can a HEPA filter be inserted in MIC 2021 SR+

I just viewed an impressive Tesla demonstration of a Model 3 with Bio Defense mode and a HEPA filiter. Can a HEPA filter be used in a current SR+ or is it not effective without the BioDefense mode option?

I thought the M3 didn’t have Bio Defense because of filter area issues. Has there been a filter redesign?

Model 3 doesn't physically have the space for the HEPA biodefense unit to be installed. It's more than just a filter.
