    I tried my high end ODB2 Bluetooth dongle on the Model S port under the steering wheel. It gets power but can't seem to connect with the standard set of protocols.

    I would love to get this data source working.

    Most likely 1MHz CAN bus speed. Can your OBD2 dongle handle that rate?
