Can I access the summon command without Full Self-Driving Capability

A bit of semantics. There are 3 packages you will see mentioned:
Basic AutoPilot
  • Traffic Aware Cruise Control
  • Auto steer on highways
Enhanced AutoPilot
  • Auto lane changing
  • Summon
  • Auto parking
Full Self Driving
  • Navigate on AutoPilot
  • Auto lane change
  • Auto park
  • Summon
  • Traffic light & stop sigh control
  • FSD computer
All cars come FSD capability and Basic AutoPIlot. If you look at the system page will say something to that effect. Up until a few years ago Tesla sold an Enhanced AutoPilot package. As you can see above, those features were absorbed into the FSD package and EAP can no longer be purchased separately. The FSD package can be purchased either when you order your car from Tesla, or as an add-on separately later on. If you have purchased the FSD package, the system screen in the car will say “FSD Capability Included package” on the system screen. ***if you are buying a used Tesla, don’t confuse the verbiage “FSD Capability” to mean it is installed!***

The one disadvantage of getting FSD at a later date is that Tesla may remove it if you trade the car in through Tesla.
