Update: Talked to my SC service manager inquiring about the price to just get the software installed, he looked into it and called my back with a price of $750. I don't need to tow anything with my MX as I have a Nissan Titan for that, so I don't see myself spending the extra money anytime soon. Maybe if they drop the price down to say $250.

Careful, they may remove that option all together in a few weeks time. Everything feels so dynamic with Tesla right now, with new features coming and more features disappearing.

For example, the PUP Bio Defense mode was only offered for a few months before they removed it.

If you think you'll use it, I would order it now because a year from now you may not have this option.
