Can i use HPWC to charge non-Tesla EVs?

Do the latest Tesla's HPWCs allow charging a non-Tesla EV using an adapter? Or is better to stay with a Nema 14-50 to provide flexibility?

Tesla doesn't sell an adapter, but there's at least one third party adapter:

JDapter Stub

Both versions of the HPWC are electrically J1772, so an adapter should work with either version.

We used our HPWC and the J Stub on our Chevy Bolt for the last year and now use it for both the Bolt and our M3. It is a great charger. It can be dialed up and down for output power and also daisy chained together so you can have two or more in the garage.
