FWIW, I keep an old set of 'standard' jumper cables (from old ICE) in the trunk well of my S (…sort of like carrying an umbrella to ward off the rain). I figure that if I ever experience the dreaded 12v problem, I can get a jump to the terminals under the nose cone and boot up to limp home or to a SC.
