Can I use tesla finance/ insurance?

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase Model 3P soon.
If I purchase from Tesla, I know that I can use finance/ insurance that is provided by Tesla.
But if I purchase from private party or third part dealer, will I be able to use them?

As far as I know, Tesla insurance is only available in California. Tesla doesn't finance their cars. They work with certain banks in certain regions. You can just go to a credit union or any bank to finance your car and shop around for insurance.

I'm in CA.

Processed my financing with Tesla online. It was handed off to US Bank. 3.49% Dec 2019.

Tesla insurance was available to me. Rate was basically exactly what I pay with Allstate but I would have lost the combined home / auto discount. Plus Allstate have stuck with me in various situations where others would have dropped me. Tesla doesn't have a long enough track record yet, but I do appreciate the extras through that Allstate doesn't offer.
