Can Tesla increase the price after placing order?

Only if you have a previously locked in price from before an increase and then you decide to change an option in your configuration. Other than that, they can't increase the price after you place an order.
That’s not really true. They *can* do whatever they want. As seen with people who placed an order for a Model S just before the refresh.

They had the option to cancel or pay the higher price but could mot take delivery of what they originally ordered at the original price.

Anyone know if Tesla can increase the price of my vehicle....after placing my order and before receiving delivery?

Thanks

Legally, Tesla can't force you to buy a higher price but they can legally offer you an option to

1) consent to buy with the newly increased price (and bring the car home)

or

2) not buy at the new higher price (and you just don't have the car).

You can sue Tesla for not offering the old lower price and if you win, the worst punishment it can get is to refund you back whatever the money kept.

Not really. That was before they released the refreshed car. In this case they can't just increase without either doing the same thing or honoring the price on order. Either way, it's not something that's going to happen to a car already in production and being delivered.
