Can Tesla installed neurio configure with generac app

As the title asks. I have read posts of people stating that since the neurio installed in the teg is already paired and providing data to Tesla that it probably cannot connect to generac. Has anyone actually tried to do so and make it work? I have reset the teg and got the neurio ssid to display publicly and my phone can connect to the hotspot created but it cannot connect to the generac installer app. Any ideas? Obviously my reasoning to do all this is because the generac is able to provide more in depth data. I have sent an inquiry to generac regarding this and still waiting on a response
