Can we institute data-only threads?

Is there a way to enforce threads to be what I’ll call “data only” here? I’m quite interested in reading about (for example) the changes in regen behavior on recent software versions, but I’m not at all interested in wading through 80% of the posts where people are basically just yelling at each other instead of contributing actual information to the thread. Maybe I’m a hopeless dreamer, but it seems like at least something that we should consider...?

i believe this a question for the Admin, if at all possible. it would be interesting to compare data points, but there may be too many other variables involved that would confuse the interpretation of the results.

Go ahead and make one. I’ve found the moderators to be quite helpful when asked to keep a thread on topic.

That said, you should probably remember you’re visiting a “discussion” forum, not a “data” forum.

This is a FORUM, users have discussions and chime in with their opinions and facts, sometimes those facts are incorrect.
Not to mention there are times tesla changes how some features work so a post might be correct today and incorrect tomorrow.

Your best bet is to do your own research beyond a few posts.
