Can we test drive model s plaid in GTA now?

Hello all. I see model s plaids are being delivered now in canada but can we test drive them right now especially for GTA residents?

No. There's a backlog of orders that need to be fulfilled as far back as somewhere around November/December 2020 first. Once the backlog is reduced, then you'll get to see them in the showroom and they'll be available for test drives. You're probably looking at 4-6 months or so based on other new release vehicles.

it is 2022 and there is seem to be some inventory of model S plaid for sale. Does anyone know Tesla allow test driving tesla model S plaid?

I can’t answer your question, but I don’t think that Vancouver is offering S/X test drives yet. It’s disappointing because I won’t consider replacing my 2017 X with a new model unless I can get some significant time driving with the yoke wheel.

My guess is that S/X sales are going to decline if most prospective buyers can’t try using the yoke wheel before making a purchase decision.
