My car makes this noise fairly often. I can’t tie it to any particular circumstance - seems to happen randomly and for random amounts of time. Sometimes a few seconds, sometimes for the entire drive. It’s coming from inside the dash.
When I’ve asked Tesla - never seems to do it when they are around - I get the “Teslas make all kinds of strange sounds” line.
