Can you set stop/hold in the Model S?

I don't quite understand why this is necessary on a non manual transmission car. Can't you just put your left foot on the brake?

Yes, and I can hand crank my windows, use my foot to maintain a set speed on the highway and scoot my seat fore and aft manually too, but it's a nice feature to have, especially at longer lights.
