Can you set stop/hold in the Model S?

I don't quite understand why this is necessary on a non manual transmission car. Can't you just put your left foot on the brake?

Yes, and I can hand crank my windows, use my foot to maintain a set speed on the highway and scoot my seat fore and aft manually too, but it's a nice feature to have, especially at longer lights.

I amuse myself sometimes by using the 'go' peddle to keep myself at the same spot.

But mostly I just use the brake and 'go' as designed; instant torque means never having to wait for a clutch.

Yep, Kinda one of those things you don't think you need until you try it. Certainly not a deal breaker, but it seems like it would be an easy upgrade via software.

Yes hill hold would be a nice feature, the VW e-up has it
You just make a compleat stop, and it activate, when you press the accelerator it designate
