Can you use Plaid on day of pickup or do you need certified check?

Just wondering if anyone has been able to use Plaid to pay the remainder of the balance on the day of pickup AFTER inspection of the vehicle (incase I need to reject it due to quality issues)?

In the past, we always sent ACH transfers on delivery day. Due to fraud and other issues, Tesla starting using Plaid. We used Plaid last month on delivery day to make the final payment when taking delivery of our Model S Plaid.
