Makes me wonder how many legacy drives would give up lifetime supercharging (to trade in) if they could only transfers FSD to a new car.

Tesla really could consider transfer, even for a fee. They might sell more cars and get a double dip on FSD even if send time isn’t the same full price.
 
It's kind of sad how they include fsd for free on used teslas, but you can't transfer even for a fee to a new one. Personally this would work against them in my situation. Having fsd locked to the car makes me more likely to keep the car forever. Fsd as it stands today is nowhere near worth 20k+tax. I don't know if it will ever be worth that tbh. My $0.02 at least.
