I don’t believe the lack of radar made any significant changes. Initially there were some, until they built a comfort level.
Whatever the cause getting FSD is a significant degradation to autopilot. I don’t think I ever set higher than 4 follow distance before I got FSD, in rush hour 1 was perfect. Now on the highway at night I’m at 7 and it still rides right up on cars if they slow down. The car doesn’t judge distance for *sugar* especially in the dark. I can’t think of a single time I had to intervene to maintain space with autopilot and now it’s common. I have completely lost comfort on the highway at night.
