Confirm you actually received summon in Canada? on a Canadian car?
If so, you're the first one to report it that I'm aware of.

So I have the summon option in my settings menu, but have not been able to turn it on with my app or fob yet. Will provide a better update later tonight

Hint - if you get another update notification in the next few days don't do it. May be a lucky mistake.
that screenshot is of release notes, not settings, but either way, a follow up question. If you go in to your lighting controls, do you have a button to turn off DRL? if so, I suspect you somehow lucked out and got an American software version. If that's the case, follow 3s-a-charm's advice and don't accept any more software updates until a more compelling feature comes out!

Lol yes I know it's the release notes! It's the only picture I had at the time. I don't see an option to then off DRL. Here's a pic if the settings page - sorry for the pic sizes

Wow. I'm starting to become cautiously optimistic that this is the real thing and not a download error...!
I got a new update (2.12.22)... but classic car so didn't notice anything different.

Just a warning: it appears that 2.12.45 broke Slacker. If you use Slacker, you might want to put off upgrading until the next version.
I don't think it's the update. Slacker is broken for me too. ..and I'm still on 7.0 I think it's on slacker's end. I can keep playing the station I'm on, but I can't search our browse.

No scrubbing (includes rewind) with the Slacker accounts included with the Teslas (~ Radio Plus). You need to upgrade to the Radio Premium service to get scrubbing and definitive track selection.
Long term (next year or so) I'm expecting Slacker to disappear from Tesla and be replaced by Spotify. I also expect that Slacker will be swallowed up by a more popular service and be closed down.

So I talked to some Tesla service guys at the auto show today, and was told that summon is indeed rolling out to canada now - so it's not a mistake! Bad news is I still can't go it to work, I have to call into service to start troubleshooting
