Canadian Currency Adjustment

On the Canadian site the price of the S 75D has fallen from 101,750 to 96,650 a 5,100 dollar drop. This represents a price drop of 5.0% CDN. The CDN/USD price difference difference on the base S 75D before the currency adjustment was 36.6%. It is now 29.7%. A reduction of 6.9%.

The CDN option pricing is down as well:

Sunroof -200 / 7.1%
Next Gen -400 / 8.5%
EAP -500 / 7.0%
FSD -300 / 7.0%
Premiun -500 / 7.0%

Yikes, I ordered my Model S a little over 2 weeks ago (still hasn't gone into production) and there's now over $13,000 in added value since then: the original price drop from the options bundling, including the smart air suspension, and now the $5000+ drop from the Canadian price adjustment. They've already offered me a $4250 discount but I hope I'll be able to take advantage of this new Canadian pricing as well. I still won't get the smart air suspension though, unless I cancel and reorder. The cancellation/change fee is $2,500 but I'd still end up saving an extra $2500 plus I'd get the smart air. Things are changing so fast and now people are talking about a total interior refresh soon and these new 85 KWh batteries that are popping up on new 75Ds in Norway. I hope I didn't make a big mistake ordering in July!

I'm still waiting to hear back from my delivery specialist on whether or not this pricing can be applied to orders that haven't been delivered.

I just got confirmation from my delivery specialist that I will be receiving the new Canadian pricing so I'm now going to be saving nearly $10,000 off my original purchase price. Pretty cool of them to offer both discounts without me even complaining/requesting compensation at all. Now I just have to be happy with what I have, even if they do refresh the interior or increase the battery capacity in the coming months.
