Canadian Model 3 LR Origin?

Just ordered 2024 long range ultra red. Had to declare some damage on my trade despite people saying they don't even look at it... but whatever I can't lie. Vin starts with LRW so it's coming from China. Eta is Aug.25-sept.7
I tried one it said was made in china but cannot see a date of manufacture. Which decoder should I use?
I read online you cannot tell from a VIN when it was made.. how do I figure this out?
St-Bruno, I talk to someone from Laval and said with the current Lock-out from the CN it may get delayed, but that also at the moment mine was not on Hold yet. And that he have an estimate for the 24th. Might change of course.
I just hope it’s before the end of the month, because I’ll be out of the country.
I posted another thread and was told mine was delayed.m due to rail strike but thag it shows 25th for delivery.. They also are saying pick uo is at another location than what was previously agreed to as I ordered an incoming car to Kitchener... not Etobicoke... I'm pisssed
There could be 3 outcomes:
a) Tesla shifts import source to Fremont
b) Price increase
c) Tesla absorbs tariff costs
With (a), I think RWD M3 still sources its LFP battery from CATL China. Will the tariff apply just on the battery?

C is not going to happen. B is also very unlikely as this will kill Tesla sales in Canada.
I suspect the LFP battery will go away just like in the USA.
Usually it is on Vehicles imported after the effective date. Those already here should be fine.

When is this incentive being removed? I am picking up Friday and the incentive still shows.
Who knows? I would verify you still qualify before taking delivery. Read the small print, if for any reason the rebate does not apply you must repay the rebate deducted from your final invoice.

I feel we have awoken a sleeping dragon and the repercussion would be profound.
In the mean time in our small first world problem.... better make your decision quick to avoid price increase or receiving arguably poorer built Teslas or both.
