Just noticed the price went up by CAD $1,000 tonight

That is interesting since the MY LR wasn’t increased in the US as part of the recent changes <48 hours ago. Wonder if they will increase the M3 STD+ in Canada

Did the Canadian Y price go up twice this month? The Y got a price increase in the US two days ago. See this article dated 6 October: Tesla increases Model 3 and Model Y prices, cheapest car is now $42,000

Canadian Model Y LR AWD only had 1 price change since July 2020 and it went up by CAD $1,000 on Oct 7/8, 2021.

US Model Y LR AWD and Performance had a price increase of USD $1,000 on Oct 5/6, 2021.

Note: The info from Electrek above is incorrect. The US Model Y LR AWD was at USD $53,990 prior to the Oct 5/6, 2021.

I guess the main reason for the latest Canadian price adjustment is to account for the foreign exchange difference for MY LR AWD.

For my information, if I did put a payment down for the LR prior to price increase, will Tesla actually honour the price?
