Looks like the Vancouver area will get the first supercharger in Canada. It's listed as "coming soon" on the supercharger map on the TM site. I suppose there are more Model S's on the streets in BC than Ontario...

I notice that ALL of the Canadian superchargers are now shown as "2014". That's definitely a change.

Last Sunday at the Cars & Coffee event in Vancouver, they told us that they estimate the Squamish Supercharger to be finished in March.
That is disappointing from the point of view of the HWY 401 corridor but I believe that they have added more stations in NE USA for 2014, which should be good for trips to that region.
Well the 401/40 corridor superchargers east of Ottawa were originally to be done later, as I recall.
Yes the NE USA stations will be very handy. I'm hoping the closest "Coming Soon" supercharger gets installed before April, because I'd like to use it.

So if coming soon means April or March, we're probably talking in the last half of next year for the Ontario Superchargers. That is definitely disappointing! Looks like the Buffalo Supercharger is also slated for 2014 now as well (used to be 2015) which at least is a positive.

Red Deer is still listed as 2015 but happy to see that the Vancouver - Calgary corridor has been moved up.

At the Toronto SC opening tonight I was told they just broke ground on the London, Ontario area Supercharger.
I pressed for more details, but came up empty handed.

Are all of you able to use Sun Country's chargers? Are they, as it seems to me with what I've read of them, free? Even if they're not so fast as a Supercharger, are they 'acceptably' fast? Do they cover the country?
* Not moot questions, as I am planning to drive back to AK at winter's end. Haven't determined yet whether to go completely through BC, or up the Calgary-Edmonton-Grd.Prairie route before heading northwest. I HAVE MADE THE TRIP dozens of times, but never yet in an all-electric vehicle....

Really? That would be great. When I was chatting with Eli all I got was that the Canadian Superchargers are coming in 2014.

Yep. I won't name who, because I don't know if they were supposed to disclose it (there seems to be quite a bit of secrecy with regards to the Superchargers for some reason), but they did specifically say London area.
