My order was on hold until next Monday, but Tesla just turned of my hold without telling me. I was going to just let it lapse and be cancelled since I am waiting on the front mega casts. Also, my wife wants to change the color from white to Red, so I just made the change as well. I am also going to change “Cash” option to “Finance”.
I did make all the changes even though I am going to let it be cancelled because I just wanted to see what happens and share that experience here, so others can make informed decision in the future.
So, the status says "Prepare for Delivery" with no EDD, No VIN yet.
Is it safe to assume that I can cancel this order anytime between now and the actual delivery date?
