Cannot log in to the Tesla app on iPhone

My spouse and I have run into a problem with the app on his iPhone. It works fine on my iPhone, but it’s stopped working on his (both have 12 Pro Max). He can’t log in because it wants his password. But when he tries to enter it (the only one he has and has ever used), it refuses to accept it, though he's never changed it. He’s also tried using the app to reset the password, but when he puts in his email, it rejects it because his email address is not found. That makes no sense because that's how he registered it and it worked till now. Any suggestions on how to solve this conundrum? (We both have latest version of the app, 3.10.10.)

Mine was saying something about maintenance about an hour ago. Working fine now.
