So took delivery of MY P yesterday. Just went to sign into YouTube in the car and get this error about the browser not being secure??

Have any of you figured out a way to login to your YouTube account in the car? I have YouTube premium and would like to be able to enjoy YouTube without ads and with my subscriptions and watch lists handy, but get a message from google to the effect of the browser not being secure/supported

2021.4.15 update fixed YouTube login
Just wanted to share that I just updated to 2021.4.15 on my 13 P85 with MCU2 infotainment upgrade and it fixed the YouTube/Google sign in security “glitch”. Hope it fixes it for anyone else too that was having troubles signing in!

I am unable to login to YouTube or Chrome browser. Moment I enter my email ID and press enter, I see a message: COULDN'T SIGN YOU IN YOU ARE TRYING TO SIGN IN FROM A BROWSER OR APP THAT DOESN'T ALLOW US TO KEEP YOUR ACCOUNT SECURE. TRY USING A DIFFERENT BROWSER Any workaround or solution?

I had the same issue.. I actually looked on youtube first and the only solution that worked for my build was this one.. It appears that it varies from car to car which solution works and which one doesn't.. I tried several of the suggested solutions on youtube and none worked.. I ended up using the solution below@Marcust99 no worries, we've all had our moments.

In addition to using ABetterTheater.com to solve this problem (see my previous post), I found another solution. While sitting in the car, open YouTube on your phone (be sure you are signed into your account) and then select a video and click on "Share" beneath the video. Select the Tesla app and the video will open automatically on the Tesla screen (assuming you are in park). I did this once and now every time I open YouTube in the car, i see that I am signed into my YouTube account - I no longer need to share the video from my phone.

None of the above methods are working for me, including the share to the Tesla app (although that is a cool feature I didn’t know about!)

I was experimenting with both ABetterTheater.com and the share feature described above. I thought it was the share feature that got me signed in, but perhaps it was BetterTheater. In any case, after playing with both methods, I am now signed into YouTube whenever I open it from the Tesla YouTube app. Perhaps try both. Sorry for the confusion.
It's July 18th 2021, I've had my MY S since March 2021 and have never been able to sign into Google. I've tried every method known and nothing has worked. I run YouTube daily and would love to be able to use it in my car one of these days.
Update: I'm running a 2018 M3 with HW2.5 2021.12.25.7 and I can now login to Google and YouTube by just signing in. I had 2 factor auth on and after I typed in my password my phone auth screen popped up saying there was a login from a device called something GNU.... finally it's back up up after 3 months because I went into service and the shop must had reset when it's in repair mode.
The only good thing out of all this is I get to watch some interesting videos that I not have otherwise
