And given Tesla's history of multi-year delays in bringing new models to market, it's not unreasonable to be skeptical of the stated 2017 launch date. I am optimistic that it will happen, but I'm not betting money on it.

This does not cover 2017 exclusively but up to 2019. Interestingly, they have the Chevy Bolt as a 2018 Model. Several car companies have multi year delays. Audi's e-trons for example.
