We're on 2018.42.2 and this has been happening since the previous update. The car is on our own WiFi in the garage and when we take it out, it never switches to 3G until I reboot the console. I've tried opening the WiFi settings and turning it off with no change. The WiFi icon shows a slash through the bars so I'm guessing that means it's off, but it never connects to 3G, even after 10 minutes. After rebooting, it connects withing a few seconds.

The service center suggested that it's a problem with Xfinity WiFi, which is one of the channels shown when the car isn't connected, but the car isn't on it, it's connected to our own WiFi connection. Moreover, as I said, even if I switch WiFi off, it never connects to 3G.

This is completely new behavior.

I have exactly same issue. I have CPo 85D.
I did find an trick to fix it.

If your out already, put your wifi OFF for few seconds and put it back one before you get home.
Seem to fix it.

I put an post about it also and no one reply back.

If that trick didn’t work, then I had to reboot the MCU.
