Does anyone have a car duster that they love and can recommend?
Never do this! The Tesla paint is way too soft.
Chemical Guys - Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Dryer Towel, 25'' x 36''
I bought that one and I loved it.
Recommend spraying with instant detailer or spray wax even if using microfiber.
The usual car duster = car scratcher
I wish that wasn't the case because they're so convenient.
In reality, most scratches and swirls are self-inflicted.
Try California car duster. Followed by detail spray and microfiber towels work for me. Same proces for classic car which can't be put through car wash. When my tesla is heavily soiled with grit I spray at car wash followed by detail spray and wipe.
Even if I paid big bucks for the ceramic pro (multiple coats) on the car?
Did you wrap or treat your car first? Have you had any scratches on it at all?
Then you should be ok, but I do like the microfiber with detail spray better, because you can wash the microfiber towels.
Yes I had opticoat applied
