Car hit garage wall while using Summon

Last night I was putting my car in the garage with Summon. I asked the car to go forward as I have done many times. This time it started forward and just as it entered the garage the wheel turned sharp and the car hit the garage wall at the door. I called Tesla and they did not seam concerned at all. I am scheduled to bring the car in next month and they said discuss it then. This is not the first time but I have always been able to stop it. Has anyone had the same situation with a simple straight forward summon. I am more concerned with the lack of concern by Tesla as if the car driving it self into a wall it self is normal. Sorry I am not good at posting so I added it to the thread above by mistake.

As a reminder, summon is a BETA technology.

We've always seen capabilities improve and diminish across various software builds.

Luckily it doesn't look too bad. Haven't heard of this before but don't doubt it could and will happen.

Are you unable to park your car in the garage or is the garage size too small and the only way to park is to use summon?

I have had the car turn when using Summon as well. That's when I realized I was a large, solid object standing in its path.

Were you directly in the path of the car as it was moving?

Hopefully you can filter out the responses from those telling you why you shouldn't be using summon

Anyway I have used summon to park my 2015 Model S in what looks to be a garage similar to yours for years, and I have never seen it fail like that (it's failed other ways but never hit anything). It certainly seems like it was both trying to steer away from something on the right and didn't see the wall on the left. How far outside was the car when you began the summon? If it was within 12 or so inches of the garage, it may have been too close to see the wall in the first place.
