Car Inaccessible Via App After Some Time

I ran into this issue with software update 2023.2.0.5
When the car goes to sleep without sentry mode on, with the car on WiFi or LTE, the app loses connection to the car. No connection at all, any command would time out. Bluetooth always works to unlock and wake up the car. Connection from the app is fine when the car is awake.

Requested a Tesla mobile service. The guy checked from the car monitor and confirmed that no issue was found. The suggestion is to keep the sentry mode on at home.

That’s not a solution. Tell them that’s a waste of electricity and just a bandaid.

Apparently for one user. I've not had this issue for a bit, though it wasn't an actual software update that fixed it. It was fixed remotely.

I mean... a software update not necessarily related to the car itself. It seemed like a network issue on Tesla's end. That said, Tesla is able to make changes to our cars without transparently sending a software update, too.

Worse than a bandaid, because they don't even know where it goes wrong.
The guy said he would send me a software update. I will report back whether that helps.
What I really want is the ability to revert to the previous version, so at least I know whether it's caused by 2023.2.0.5

If it's an issue at the Tesla server side, the chances are it will affect many more users. Looks like the scope is rather limited this time.

I haven’t had it come back on our cars.
I think that one user (above) may have some other issue that may seem similar.

Since the mobile service didn't help, I had to try my luck on Google, and I found this page Tesla not waking up

I found a faulty 12V battery is unlikely, for an 1 year old car.

I tried a hard reboot (brake and two buttons). The issue appears to be resolved.
