Car is sounding like it is straining, in the wrong gear?

Recently noticed that my M3 ‘20 with 70k mileage on it sounds like it is straining.
Very noticeable in the drivers seat, not so much in the front passenger seat.
Reminds me of an ice engine that the motor is wanting to be upshifted .
Anyone else experiencing this?
My new Vredstein tires have been on since April so I don’t think that is the issue.

That's odd. There is no gearing in model 3. Only the Porsche Taycan had a 2 speed gearbox I think.

Do you have any loss of power? You mentioned it sounds like it's straining, but how does it feel if you punch it?

You could make a service appointment though the app and describe the issue. They may be able to run some remote diagnostics or have a ranger come check it out.
