So what have people named their new cars? Interested to start seeing a list…

This has probably been done a bunch but… since I was a Next Generation fan as a kid.

DS9 fan myself. Actually, Defiant would be a good name for my car.

I watch The Big Bang Theory for relaxation and so I named her Penny. When she does something cool I say "thank you Penny" in Sheldon's voice.

Maine is Blue so I chose Karman, after the Karman belt in space as it's the same fantastic color. The other but if luck I was able to get MYP as registration in Ohio.

The partial reason for it is that they turned off the ability to disable (really, lower to 25%) regenerative braking. So, the car has a harsh ride for passengers, and especially so if you have someone that is nauseous in the back seat. (It's impractical to expect someone to hover on the pedal to prevent that for 8-12hr trips, etc.) As such, naturally, the kid got sick...

So now, The Vomit Comet.

Impractical? Seriously? You know you have to keep your foot in the same position in a gas car too, right? If you're hovering, you're doing it wrong. Chill mode, heel on the floor, ball of your foot on the pedal, the spring force is enough that you don't have to apply noticeable muscle power to keep your foot stable. Just like in a gas car.

Also, TACC works.

Don't have it yet, still waiting for my delivery date later this month... but it's a Midnight Silver with the 20" wheels. I've named it "Jax" after a character named Jarlaxle from my favorite books.
