Car plugged in and charging and screen remains on.

Just got my new MY back and have it charging. But I walk away and the screen remains on (bright charging status screen). Does it ever shut off or how do I have it turn off while it sits in my garage over night charging?

Yes, just wait a few minutes. You can walk away to activate the lock - that makes it turn off right away.
