I have a car seat and I pressed the button on the UI to let the car not alert me. But every other day or so I have to press the button again stating the car seat is still there.. is this a safety thing?

a car seat where? in the rear or the front? and what warning are you receiving? the seat buckle?
if it's the seat buckle, just buckle it while the seat is empty. that will take care of the alert.

I have the same thing. Two car seats and have to do this from time to time sometimes shows unbuckled, sometimes car seat, sometimes nothing. Seems to not wanna keep the setting after a while. I just stopped paying attention.
Yep. It's def a bug since V10. Never had an issue before but now it's always saying there is someone sitting back there and I need to hit the icon to change to car seat.

i had no idea this is a thing. booster seats don't seem to invoke this. is this because you're using the LATCH system?

Basically. The car seat toggle was added in V9. In V8 we more or less had to have the seatbelt plugged in even if we were using Latch.
