Car seats. Looking for potential solution

I just received my new Model 3 two weeks ago and trying to find the best solution to install a full baby car seat without damaging the back seats long term.

I’ve used some blankets under it for now but keep taking the seats out so that it doesn’t deform the back seats long term. When I took the seat off my previous cars there was some serious indents in the leather.

any recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

One thing you need to be aware of is dye transfer. Some of the protectors that bill themselves as high-end have serious issues with heat and dye transfer from what I found when I was researching. I wound up with these:

No issues with color transfer or permanent seat deformation so far after ~9 months.

We are still using a Britax rear facing for our 3 year old. I hope I don't jinx myself here but I have to say that the seat reforms pretty well after being removed overnight. I remove ours once every 1-2 weeks for about 12-24 hours and the seat always seems to back. Maybe like the back corner by the seat belt has a little indention but it is hard to notice.

I think we tried one of those mats and i didn't think it helped much. I can't really remember but i think it was too big for the seat anyway

oh, i have black seats so i guess dye transfer isn't a concern

I have two of these in mine (front facing 4 yr and infant seat). No issues with black leather, been on since Nov. There are indents but i don't know if those could be avoidable. My diono seat weighs 30 to 40 pounds too

i use the same as @Whosyourbaba , i take the seats out ever few weeks to clean any garbage my kids hide and noticed the only indentation is from the seat protector itself which after a little massaging any indentations are gone. i/m using boosters if that matters

I spent a lot of time researching this. Finally settled on this car seat protector and it’s amazing. Very well made and fits perfect. We use it with the Nuna base and Nuna Pipa Lite.
