I went to a kite festival in Lees Summit, MO today and in one of the side lots they were also having a car show. They didn't have any Tesla there, so I cleaned up my Model S and checked to see if they would like to have it in the show. The welcomed us right in. Despite that the Model S has been around a number of years, it still brought in plenty of interest. Spent the afternoon talking to people interested in it. Was definitely worth doing.
Most common question was about where the engine was.
Met a wide variety of folks, from those already interested in Tesla, to those who have never heard of it and didn't know it was electric. It was great getting to talk to all these people.
Cars at the show included a variety of old restored classics, modified muscle cars, and some other interesting stuff like a couple of Chevrolet Corvette pace cars. Only electrics were an older style blue Chevrolet Volt and our 2014 Tesla Model S P85.
