Car Temperature On App - Why does it show the temp only sometimes?

I've noticed that when using the Tesla App, there are times when it shows me the interior temp of the car, while other times it does not show it. Why is that? Can I set it up so that it always shows me the temp when I'm using the app?

I've noticed the same, it seems to show the temp once I remotely turn on climate control or if I've recently driven and parked and the system was still active.

Mine has always as far as I know. Now, app connecting to the car, each and every time right off the bat.... that's another story.
