car wraps, positives and negatives

What do y'all think about wrapping the full glass roof on a Model 3 to reduce the chance of chips, cracks, etc? Is it a waste of money or would it be beneficial?

For me it has been all positive, except the cost. The guys I used for my Model X in Fremont quoted $7,400 to wrap a Model 3 with ClearGuard (the best wrap available). If anyone knows a legit wrap company in the Sacramento area... please let me know so I can explore some more reasonable quotes.

I also am in sac I found a few places but all are 5k+ if you find some one who is good and not crazy priced please DM me I want just a clear protect. I am leaseing so it has to be worth the savings or I will just have to pay for the repaint of the hood after 3 years or what ever Tesla tells me I must cover.
