I really like the lighter colors on the models S except for one thing. The chrome strip under the doors takes on the light color at a distance and makes the doors look notched into the black rocker panels. The resolution is to either have the rockers taken off and painted or to black out the chrome trim. I saw some 3/4 inch carbon fiber tape at the local auto parts store and decided to give it a go. I think this takes care of my biggest appearance gripe and it took a whopping 30 minutes to install.
