I didn't see the warning messages soon enough and had my parking card on the sliding cover of the center console. As I went down the ramp my card slid into the back. While trying to fish it out I managed to push it into the duct..... I know it's in the duct because I've taken the center console out and it's no where to be found. When I tap on the duct I can hear the card bounce around inside it... The duct is #13 shown below. Can anyone tell me how to remove it without taking the carpet out (along with the seats and etc) and the MCU out (along with the dash)?

Good luck, i just want to switch the seats, service center guy said it is hell.
Why not just buy another card. My Starbucks card disappeared. Bought new one.

Because I can hear it rattle around when I drive now....

I also slid out part #14 but there are parts inside the duct end that prevent the card from coming out....

Connect a high volume air compressor to the small end of 14 and seal the connection with duct tape. Turn on the air. Note that I said high volume, not one of those miniature compressors used to put air in tires.

Also, start with the simple/easy ideas first:

1. Park the car facing uphill on the steepest road or driveway you can find.
2. Turn on heater blower to highest setting, and selected floor ducts.
3. Block off the other ducts so all the air has to go through the one where your card is.
4. Coat hangers with tape, etc.

Good luck!
