CarMax help please

I just got a new quote from Vroom to see if the mileage screwed me over or if the market really dropped out in the last week and with 300 more miles it’s $166 MORE than the previous offer from them I accepted... so hopefully this still works out for me and today was just wasted...

I went to Carmax and Carvana. Carmax offered me 26K and Carvana offered me 38K.

This must me strongly region dependent, or just not many blue cars available at carvana. They are offering me $30,900 for a white-white SR+ with less than 10k miles. Disappointing.

To add another data point, located in New England. I listed multiple numbers chronologically where I requested updated offers:

Carvana: 32.7k - 31.7k - 30.9k
CarMax: 34k
Tesla: 32k (equivalent to 34.1k with trade in tax advantage)
Vroom: 35k
Local major OEM franchise dealer: about 37k.

Sold it to the highest bidder, happy camper. I suspect private person sale would have brought in 38-39k, but that might have taken a bit.

For me Tesla was right around $30k.... just no way could I take that when I paid $42k for the car less than 8,000 miles ago...
