Carmax values for selling used Model S

Has anyone sold their used Model S to CarMax? Wondering how values compared to the Tesla Trade-In value if you did?

I sold mine by placing an add on Autotrader and this forum for $5000 more than Tesla offered.

CarMax tends to offer slightly more than Tesla, but you can do better placing an ad on this site or selling it private party.

CarMax offered me $5000 less than Tesla trade in, so YMMV. Personally I felt like CarMax reps didn't know crap about the Model S.

2015 85D, 20k miles. I took it to CarMax and Tesla last week in San Diego.
Offer from CarMax was $54,500. Offer from Tesla was $61,500. I'm going to private sale it and hopefully get closer to $70k
