Carnarvon Gorge , Queensland

I've read Dylanpete's great thread on his outback Qld adventure, a couldn't find (or missed) any commentary on Carnarvon Gorge. My Model S 75D can get from Roma to the Gorge and a fair way back to Roma- so I'll need to top up at the Gorge. An option is getting a powered site for a day, bit ideally being able to plug into a socket in (or outside) a cabin. The operators do not seem EV savvy unfortunately. Has anyone in the community been to the Gorge and, if so, what was your experience and do you have any advice?
