Cars in AP2 dash display appearing far further away than they really are

To my eyes (and also to my 'phone camera, see attached image) the distance to cars in the dash display seems far longer than the distance as seen in the real world through the windshield.

Has anyone else notice this?

How should I report this to Telsa?

The dash display is not a synthetic vision presentation (which mimics what you would see looking out the window). Rather it is a representation of what is being detected and what the autopilot is doing (i.e., driving based on lines or following car ahead, speed based on car ahead or something else, etc.). A to-scale, synthetic vision presentation would require a lot more screen real-estate in order to present information in a useful manner in all use-cases from stopped through highway speeds/distances.
